Turbo Cleaner Diesel Engines

In the case of Direct Injection Diesel engines, because the fuel does not “wash” over the inlet valves, you tend to get a build-up of sticky carbon as a result of re-circulated air from the EGR valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve) plus any build-up of oil in the intercooler. This can create an issue with the inlet valve not seating properly or not opening properly causing problems with engine idle and performance leading to poor fuel consumption.

The Revive fluid passes through the exhaust valve and on the way will clean the seats of these valves and then finally it arrives at the exhaust end of the turbo where the VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) mechanism is located. These can either be blades which swivel or a slide plate which changes the volume of chamber around the Turbine Wheel of the turbo shaft.
